Kojic Dipalmitate is an ester of Kojic acid. Kojic Acid itself can be prone to instability with color-changes occurring over time, whereas Kojic Dipalmitate retains its stability for longer. It is used as a skin whitening ingredient and to reduce the appearance of age-spots and hiperpigmentation.
It offers superior stability, which not only overcomes the instability to light, heat and metallic ion, but also keeps activity of the inhibitory tyrosine and prevents the formation of melanin, age-spots and hyperpigmentation. It is said to be more effective than kojic acid although it’s yet to be proven. Nevertheless, after kojic acid has ceased to be effective, kojic dipalmitate will still be working without discoloring your formulations.. Kojic Dipalmitate can produce excellent effects in even toning the skin, fighting age spots, pregnancy marks, freckles as well as general skin pigmentation disorders of face and body.

- Carry out a strand test and an allergy patch test 48 hours before use.
- Contains persulfate salts. Wear gloves, avoid contact with eyes and skin, and avoid inhaling the powder.
- Not for use on eyebrows or eyelashes. Keep out of reach of children.
- Not suitable for anyone with a known persulfate sensitivity. May cause an allergic reaction.
