Bvlgari Splendida Jasmin Noir Perfume by Bvlgari, Bvlgari Splendida Jasmin Noir is a 2008 floral woody women’s fragrance enhanced by nutty and sweet accords. Designed by Sophie Labbe and Carlos Benaim, the blend opens with gardenia and green sap. The sweet, nutty and mildly bitter essence of almond pairs up with jasmine sambac, an intensely fragrant version of the flower that’s native to the Himalayas. The perfume finishes with patchouli and cashmeran woods, which impart a light, bright and slightly musky aroma.
Bvlgari’s origins date to its founding in 1884 as a fine jewelry company, but the label later expanded into handbags and then launched its fragrance line in 1992. The Italian label has released more than 85 scents to date, including 1998’s Black unisex perfume, its Aqua collection, the Le Gemme perfumes and the Splendida fragrances. Master perfumers who’ve crafted the brand’s offerings include luminaries such as Olivier Polge, Nathalie Lorson, Annick Menardo and Sophia Grojsman.
